We have just received the first Samphire of the season (July – August). This seaside crop follows on from the English Asparagus seasons and is great in Stir Fry or Steamed over a pan of boiling water for a couple of minutes, serve with melted butter, brilliant with fish, £12.03 per kg might sound expensive but you only need about 100g per serving and we are half Sainsbury’s price at £25.00 per kg.
